A new study from the Hamm Institute for American Energy at Oklahoma State University, through its Trilateral Energy Security Committee (TESC), in partnership with Wood Mackenzie, projects Vietnam’s electricity demand to more than triple by 2050, and finds that LNG will be critical to keeping the lights on, especially if the government were to maintain its policy to restrict new coal-fired power generation.
